Östersunds Bluesfestival |

This is a bit of a different festival. The gigs are spread over a number of places around Östersund, pubs, bars, theaters etc. All in a nice places. Some of the pubs are really good pubs, with lots of good beer and food.
It seems that this festival is about to chnage for the 2006 festival thogh, but I hope it retains it's particular style of blues festival. Music is going on at several places at the same time, and you can walk around and sample different bands, places etc. The only issue is that it sometimes get really crowded at some places where popular bands play.
Music is mostly Swedish and Norwegian bands, with the occitional international band every year.
This festival is one of my favourites in Sweden, and I recommended it. You get to hang around with a lot of folks from Norway, who, some reason, comes to this festival in huge crowds. |
