It's been a long time since I published any images, but this is mainly due to me being involved in some other projects. This is now resting for a while, so I'll publish some photes from the festivals this summer. Up now are some images of BB & the Blues Shacks at Göteborgs Bluesparty in June this year. See the shots here.

Blues in Eslöv
Tuesday, 06 October 2009 12:48

For the tenth year, just like in Östersund, the Blues comes to Eslöv in southern sweden, and I'll be there. This two-day blues festival is on October 23 and 24, and the lineup looks good, and I'll be there of course. Among the side events to this festival, they are opening swedens first Blues library, which looks interesting.

I'll report how this all went or, even better, hope to see you down there.

Östersund Blues Festival

This years Östersund Blues Festival is now over. It was really good as usual, one of my favourite among swedish blues festival. The lineup on friday was a bit better than on Saturday though, if you ask me, but it was still fun last night. The local band Per Stålhandske was quite entertaining,  but the hight of the evening was Barrelhouse Chuck with Trickbag, Chuck is a great entertaining musician, and Trickbag is just exceptionally good. Several of the Harmonica players from the evening before was also up on stage.

It was some time ago since I saw Bluebirds last time, so it was nice to see them again. And finally, to finish uo the festival, was crazed out (in a good way) Peer Gynt from Norway, who really needs to be seen live to be appreciated. A real fun Henrix style show!

All in all, an entertaining festival, with lots of good music.

BTW. The Thai restaurant down the road is great, but VERY slow!
